Department of Defence Army Headquarters Land Network Integration Centre Interim Battle Management System (iBMS) – Engineering Management Governance and Leadership

Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC) is part of Army Headquarters’ Land Capability Executive and is managing a program to deliver the Interim Battle Management System (iBMS) to the ADF. A Battle Management System (BMS) is designed to enhance the land tactical commander’s situational awareness, and facilitate execution of complex, dispersed and high temp operations, while increasing the speed of the decision action cycles. Army has identified the need to develop an interim BMS capability that has been tasked to LNIC to develop and deliver an interim solution to support Army’s requirements until Land200-3 delivers an enduring solution.

PT&I are supporting this program with engineering leadership to drive management and governance, coordination, development and support of systems engineering activities for iBMS with eventual oversight and guidance to deliver iBMS Technical/Materiel certification.
